Here's a short list for you. These are some of the core values that make up the foundation of the AskMyAdvisor® OS.
The open source method
The AskMyAdvisor® Method is open source. We teach both the DIY way (free) and the DFY way (software). Our education runs through every channel: reports, playbooks, webinars, podcast, and book. This allows us to speak objectively in all ways, always. This is important because it acclerates us teaching the method vs. being like the 99% others who are pitching, selling, etc.
Education based marketing
Objective beats subjective. We believe the best coaching is done by teaching, not selling. Every report, playbook, webinar, podcast, and book is built to educate advisors first.
Across all channels we share both paths: DIY (free) and DFY (software, paid). This gives us credibility because we are teaching the method openly, not pitching it.
It also holds us accountable to maintain a superior paid software product. If DFY is not clearly better, no advisor will move from DIY (no revenue) to DFY (revenue). This creates alignment on all sides all ways, always.
No paid affiliates
Most software companies rely on affiliate programs. We do not. This keeps us objective as education based marketers (see above). We allow the underwriting of the annual commitment fee, which lets trusted advisors share a credit code with the accountants, attorneys, consultants, financial advisors, realtors, and other trusted advisors they introduce to AskMyAdvisor®. This credit can range from $50 up to +$250 per year, per seat. Objective information always beats subjective promotion.
